20+ years of service

Greg Schneider is truly wired to serve.

Prior to founding his own business, he worked 16 years for a local electrician and gravitated to handling their service calls, primarily for farmers and commercial customers. His knack for troubleshooting and his genuine love and concern for people made him a great fit for the work.

During this time, farming operations were growing and became more complex, but there was no electrical contractor that specialized in serving that market. Sensing an opportunity, in 2004 he started Greg Schneider Electric.

Since then, Greg Schneider Electric (GSE) has grown from being a small company of just Greg and his wife, to a full team of 15 honest, knowledgeable, and hardworking men dedicated to getting the job done right.

As the business grew, Greg found himself primarily doing management and — as he would say — spending too much time in the office. Thankfully, now that his son, and other senior staff, are taking over most of the management duties, Greg is back doing what he loves most: directly solving problems for his customers!

Although agriculture is still a primary market, GSE has expanded to serve the needs of commercial and industrial customers, added underground boring services, purchased an electric motor company, and has developed a high level of expertise in electrical automation controls.

While the growth over the last 20+ years has been remarkable, Greg and team have managed it carefully. They’ve seen examples of other companies that lost their culture of quality work and customer service as they expanded too rapidly and they refuse to let that happen.
